Mr. Holshouser
was a great wise man with knowledge. He is from Navy family, banker, saving and
loans ex employee for houses. Jesse Holshouser joined Silver Companies as Chief Financial
Officer in January 2003. His
responsibilities include corporate and project financing, asset management, due
diligence, risk management and accounting and reporting. During his 30-year career in corporate and
real estate finance, Jesse has specialized in real estate financing, development,
investment, acquisitions and operations; deal structuring; market research;
financial modeling; strategic planning; and risk management. He was an advisor
to Jack Nicklaus immediately prior to joining Silver Companies. Prior to that he was the Chief Financial
Officer of the PGA of America for 11 years where he also served as Managing
Director of its golf course development, licensing and management group. Prior to the PGA, Jesse was the Chief
Financial Officer of a real estate investment banking firm for four years, a
management consultant with Price Waterhouse for five years and a real estate
appraiser and analyst with a savings and loan for four years. Jesse earned an MBA with distinction from the
University of Michigan in 1978 and earned a B.B.A. in real estate from Florida
Atlantic University in 1975.
Jesse was elaborating
on capital market where REIT buys properties with NOI of 7% million, Cap rate
are 7%. The market states investors are demanding 3.2% dividend yield. Jesse
had a feeling the market will crash because the mortgage rates are low and
never been this low. I believe it will too, because the market is great now.
What goes up goes down. In 1986-1995 FDIC took over, 1043 savings and loans
when Jesse was working at savings and loans. Regulation Q limited rates paid on
deposits at the time, which effect mortgages.
Great speaker. Open my eyes as a realtor and the mortgage lender,
which I’m getting my licenses in soon.
